The Baytown OEM coordinates with various recovery partners and organizations to restore critical services and to return the community to a new normal. Following a disaster, it may be several days before vital services are restored, such as electricity, gas, water, telecommunications and other essential services. In addition, it may take several months to years for the community to fully recover from a major disaster or catastrophic incident. Baytown OEM facilitates short-term, intermediate, and long-term recovery programs with a multitude of recovery organizations to foster a disaster-resilient future.
